His deep familiarity with the Cape’s food and wine landscape allows him to guide clients toward the right tables, estates, and experiences without guesswork. On the ground, he remains present and attentive, ensuring each day runs smoothly and personally.
Nigel Chikuwira
Nigel Chikuwira is a host and one of The Local Legends, bringing real depth in wine and fine dining to the team. A WSET certified sommelier, he knows the estates, the styles, and the way a wine shifts alongside a plate. His feel for pairing and service was built on the floor of some of the city's most demanding rooms. That understanding of wine, food, and how the two come together is what he brings to every guest he hosts.
For Travel Partners
We support inbound agencies and travel planners who require disciplined execution in Cape Town and the Western Cape.
We design and manage Cape Town segments that integrate cleanly into broader South African itineraries.
Our role is regional control.
Supplier alignment, routing, accommodation positioning and daily flow are resolved in advance.
On the ground, we coordinate the moving parts, estates, kitchens, transport, private security, household staff or concierge teams where required, ensuring the programme runs as structured without increasing oversight for your team.
We maintain trade-ready Cape Town and Winelands days designed for clean insertion into existing programmes, as well as the capacity to manage more complex, high-touch movements when a group requires tighter orchestration.
Communication is direct. Adjustments are handled locally. The wider itinerary remains undisturbed.
